Her Majestys Platinum Jubilee event is just around the corner as tube strike action has just been announced for that weekend. If you are using National Rail and other TfL services from stations also served by London Underground check before you travel for possible station closures.

The New Tube for London NTfL is a type of London Underground train to be built by Siemens as part of its Inspiro family at Siemenss factories in Goole East Yorkshire and Vienna Austria. A 24-hour walkout across the London Underground will take place after the Queens Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend a rail union has announced. An initial batch of 94 nine-car trains has been ordered at a cost of 15bn to replace 1973 Stock trains on the Piccadilly line with options for a total of 250 trains allowing replacement of all.
Strikes are planned on the Tube network. Staff from two tube stations on the London Underground are striking.
